Fly High Goji Berry Bonanza

This recipe comes from David Wolfe’s new book Superfoods: The Food and Medicine of the Future

It is sure to get you feeling like a kid with it’s hefty dose of raw superfood nutrition. The high antioxidant ingredients like goji berries and raw cacao counteract the aging affects of free radicals. Oh, and did I mention this recipe tastes amazing!

4 cups liquid – water, warm or cold tea, fresh coconut water, or any nut milk

3 tbsp. cacao powder Cacao (Chocolate) Powder, 16 oz, Sunfood (raw, certified organic)

1 tbsp. cacao nibs Cacao Nibs, 8 oz, Sunfood (peeled, raw, certified organic)

1 tbsp. maca Navitas Naturals Raw Maca Powder, Organic, 7.1-Ounce Jars (Pack of 2)

3 tbsp. goji berries Organic Goji Berries, 16oz

1 tsp. goji berry extract powder (optional)

1-2 tbsp sweetener (yacon syrup, real raw agave, or raw honey) Organic Yacon Syrup, 8.8oz jar

1-3 cups organic frozen or fresh berrie (blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries work well)

1 tbsp. hempseed Manitoba Harvest Hemp Seed Nut Shelled Hemp Seed, 8-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2)

1 small pinch Celtic sea salt Celtic Sea Salt®, Light Grey, By The Grain & Salt Society, Coarse Ground, 1/2# Bag

1/4 to 1/2 leaf fresh aloe leaf (optional)

Blend all the ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth and get ready to fly!
